Why does Ellen Pompeo deserve an Emmy? February 4, 2009

Sé que podríamos pasar horas, incluso días, enumerando las razones por las que Ellen merece un Emmy. Pero de momento, vamos a empezar con quince…

1. Es una excelente actriz, ¿alguien tiene alguna duda aún?
2. No es nada fácil ser Meredith Grey, pero desde el primer capítulo sabes que ella ha nacido para serlo
3. Es capaz, en un mismo capítulo, de hacerte reir y llorar
4. Lleva cinco temporadas siendo completamente ignorada por la crítica para todo tipo de premios, ella es la protagonista de la serie y el corazón de Grey’s Anatomy, por esa razón merece un Emmy ya!
5. Sus ojos, su mirada…sólo ella sabe como dejarte expectante durante cuatro meses especulando sobre los pensamientos de Meredith Grey.
6. No se trata solo del último capítulo, podríamos elegir cualquier episodio de la serie, y en todos ellos habría alguna escena de Ellen merecedora de un Emmy
7. Cuando Meredith Grey sufre, tu sufres con ella
8. No necesita gritar, ni llorar en exceso para demostrarnos que es una excelente actriz dramática
9. Nunca la he oído quejarse de sus tramas…
10. La tratan como si fuera una actriz ordinaria y corriente, pero Ellen es EXTRAORDINARIA
11. Ella y Patrick Dempsey son los culpables de que Meredith y Derek sean, en este momento, la pareja mas creible de la televisión.
12. Por lo tanto…Patrick Dempsey también merece un Emmy! ¡Es hora de que dejen de ignorarlo a el también!
13. No todo el mundo sabe perder las bragas con tanto estilo como ella.
14. Ellen dijo que nunca suplicaría a un hombre del modo en que Meredith suplicó a Derek, pero nosotros queremos decirle a la academia de la televisión: ELEGIDLA, ESCOGEDLA, QUERERLA!
15. Y…POR QUE ELLA LO VALE!

We can spend hours, even days, counting the reasons why Ellen deserves an Emmy. However, let’s start with these

1. She’s a terrific actress. Anyone still has doubts about it?
2. Being Meredith Grey is not easy, but from the first episode we knew she was born to play her
3. She’s capable, in the same episode, of making us laugh and cry.
4. She’s been snubed by the academy and the critics during five seasons, which is totally unfair, because she is the star and the heart of Grey’s Anatomy. She deserves the recognition that has been denied to her by the Academy. Come on!, it’s an act of justice!
5. Because her eyes speak for herself, and can make you wonder what is Meredith thinking and speculate about it during the whole hiatus until the new season
6. It’s not only about last episode, we could choose any Grey’s Anatomy episode, and find Emmy Worthy material on them
7. When Meredith Grey is in pain, you feel her pain too
8. She doesn’t need to scream or cry like a crazy person to prove that she’s an excellent dramatic actress.
9. We have never heard her complain about her storylines. She’s down to earth and grateful, and that’s something really difficult to find in Hollywood
10. She’s been treated for five seasons like an ordinary actress… But Ellen is EXTRAORDINARY
11. Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey are completely guilty for making Meredith and Derek the most believable couple on TV… And the most addictive couple too!
12. By the way… That remind us… Patrick deserves an Emmy too!, Come on!, stop ignoring him!
13. Nobody loses her panties like Meredith. You can’t seriously tell us you’re that stylish while losing your underwear. LOL!
14. Ellen said in an interview that she would never beg a man like Meredith begged to Derek , but we’d like to say something to the Academy: PICK HER, CHOOSE HER, LOVE HER!
15. And… BECAUSE SHE’S WORTH IT!
